Please don’t bring young children to court
This morning, at the capital murder trial for Robert Sparks, someone brought a young child into the courtroom. She was perhaps 4. She came in just after graphic photos and testimony about the fatal knife wounds to Chare Agnew, and her sons, Raeqwon Agnew, 10, and Harold Sublet, 9. Grownups left the courtroom in tears because they couldn’t bear it. There is nothing about this trial that is fit for little ears. Nothing about the violent stabbings or the sexual assaults of two teenage girls. I
