Michigan and Ohio E. coli Outbreak Update
As of this afternoon, Ohio has confirmed 18 cases of E. coli O157:H7 with an additional 4 cases that are probable. According to the Ohio Department of health, the 18 cases have been confirmed in the following Ohio counties: Franklin (ten confirmed) Delaware (one confirmed) Fairfield (four confirmed) Lucas (one confirmed) Seneca (one confirmed) Union (one confirmed) Also of this afternoon, Michigan has confirmed 17 cases E. coli O157:H7 with an additional 4 cases that are probable.
