Kilpatrick hosts event to raise legal funds (Detroit Free Press)
Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick spent the breakfast hour Friday raising money for his legal defense fund. Kilpatrick met with “a diverse gathering of supporters from corporate and civic backgrounds who are committed to the mayor’s vigorous defense,” said Chris Garrett, one of the mayor’s Washington-based public relations consultants.
