I was at a golf show last weekend when I came across the pinnacle of functional art – high tech wooden putters. I know high tech and wood has been an oxymoron in golf since Persimmon Woods went the way of the Dodo bird some 20 years ago but, not only were the putters beautiful, they also put a great roll on the ball.
