Giving defendant death penalty isn’t as simple as deciding life or death

Yes. Yes. No. Those were answers jurors gave court when they decided Mark Robertson deserved death penalty for killing Edna Brau. It isn’t simply voting for or death. First, they must decide that his actions were deliberate and that he knew death would result. Then, they must decide if he would be a future danger to society.
