Due to his “hang ’em high” intransigence, it now turns out the former Dallas County District Attorney not only kept the innocent incarcerated, but, through his adamant opposition to DNA testing, let the guilty walk as well. In the case of Patrick Leondos Walker, seven years later, DNA testing by current Dallas DA Craig Walkins has cleared him of an armed robbery.
