Budget Slated For Approval Tomorrow, Gattis Still Budget Officer
The Williamson County 2008 – 2009 budget is slated for approval at tomorrow’s Williamson County Commissioners Court (WCCC) meeting. And, despite the fact that the traditional media won’t talk about it, County Judge Dan Gattis, Sr., is still the County Budget Officer. County Attorney Jana Duty doesn’t seem to mind, despite the Texas Attorney General’s opinion, which she requested, stating Gattis, Sr. can’t hold that position.
